Abstract
This article examines the historical stages of the formation and development of theater journalism. It analyzes the interaction between theatrical art and journalism, the emergence of early forms of theatrical information, and the development of theater criticism as a genre. Special attention is paid to the institutional development of theater journalism in Russia and Uzbekistan. The study highlights the transformation of theater journalism during the independence period and its expansion within modern media platforms. The article concludes that theater journalism plays a significant role in shaping public opinion and supporting the development of theatrical art.
