Format the title and author details

The article starts with the UDC code, then the title, then the authors. For each author give the academic degree, position, organisation, city, e-mail and ORCID. If you have no ORCID, you can get one free of charge at orcid.org in five minutes.

    Example
UDC 781.7(575.172) Zhyrau traditions in the contemporary performing practice of Karakalpakstan Utepbergenova Aigul Bakhtiyarovna Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Pedagogy, Associate Professor Nukus branch of the Uzbek State Institute of Arts and Culture, Nukus, Uzbekistan a.utepbergenova@example.uz · ORCID 0000-0000-0000-0000
  3. 3

    Write the abstract and keywords

The abstract and keywords are given in three languages: the language of the article, Russian and English. The title and the authors are translated into all three languages as well.

    • Abstract length150–250 words: aim, material and methods, main results, conclusion
    • Keywords5–10 words or phrases separated by commas
    • LanguagesLanguage of the article (Karakalpak or Uzbek), Russian, English
  4. 4

    Build the text in sections

Sections are marked with subheadings in bold. Review and theoretical articles may have a free structure, but an introduction and a conclusion are required.

    1. IntroductionRelevance, aim and objectives of the study
    2. Materials and methodsSources, sample, methods of analysis
    3. ResultsWhat was obtained — with tables and figures
    4. DiscussionComparison with the work of other authors
    5. ConclusionFindings and prospects of the study
  5. 5

    Add figures and tables

    • Number them in order — “Figure 1”, “Table 1” — and refer to them in the text.
    • A figure caption goes below the figure, a table title above the table.
    • Photographs and scans: at least 300 dpi. Also attach them as separate JPG or PNG files.
    • Do not insert tables as pictures — only as Word tables, so that they can be edited.
  6. 6

    Format the reference list

At least 10 sources, at least three of them from the last five years. The list follows GOST R 7.0.5 in the order of citation. A reference in the text is the number of the source and the page in square brackets: [3, p. 25]. If a source has a DOI, give it.

    Check originality

The originality of the text must be at least 75%. Check the article in the Antiplagiat system or a similar one and save the report as a PDF — it has to be attached when you send the article. Self-citation and quotations in quotation marks with a source are not counted as borrowing.

    Check everything and send

Name the file after the surname of the first author: Utepbergenova_article.docx. Tick the items before sending:
