Abstract
This article discusses the role of cultural music in human life, the development of
music teaching methodology, and the main objectives of music education in secondary schools. It
highlights the professional competence and creative activity of music teachers in the educational
process. Special attention is paid to the use of national musical heritage and modern pedagogical
technologies in shaping students’ aesthetic taste, spiritual worldview, and patriotic values.
