Abstract
The article examines the methodological aspects of forming a vocal ensemble under the conditions of a student choir group. The significance of ensemble work as an important direction in the musical-pedagogical process, aimed at developing intonational harmony, timbral balance, performance interaction, and artistic expressiveness, is substantiated. Special attention is paid to the teacher's role in organizing the rehearsal process: from selecting participants and planning lessons to forming the overall artistic image of the work. Pedagogical approaches to developing ensemble skills, principles for selecting voices, stages of ensemble formation, and criteria for selecting a repertoire corresponding to the team's level of preparation are described. The research used methods of theoretical analysis, pedagogical observation, questionnaires, expert evaluation, audio and video analysis. The methodology developed and tested in the student choir has proven its effectiveness in improving the quality of ensemble performance and enhancing the level of musical interaction between participants. The obtained results can be used in the practice of vocal and choral collective leaders, teachers of music educational institutions, as well as in the process of professional training of future music educators.
