Abstract

This article analyzes the growing trend toward the expansion of the choreographers’ labor market, driven by the emergence of new forms of dance art and new specializations related to physical education and public health. It examines the factors influencing this process. Contradictions are identified between society’s demand for modern specialists possessing contemporary professional competencies and the traditional methods of training choreography specialists. Based on the findings, conclusions are drawn regarding the need to improve the educational process at a choreography university to align it with new trends in choreographic art and the needs of the modern labor market by optimizing the range of specialized disciplines and educational tracks, revising curricula, and increasing the number of instructional hours. Program-level research is necessary to develop specific measures and implement innovations.
