Abstract
The classical architecture of Uzbekistan has astonished the world with its uniqueness.
This article analyzes, from an art historical perspective, the essence of the architecture and decorative
elements of mosques built during the era of New Uzbekistan. It explores the harmony between traditional
Islamic architectural styles and modern design elements, as well as the characteristics of calligraphic
inscriptions in religious structures. The research examines the materials used in the decoration of façades and
interiors of contemporary mosques, along with applied ornamental patterns.
