Abstract
This article deals with the tragedy “Hamlet” staged by the famous and great
director, pedagogue, People's Artist of Uzbekistan Professor Turgun Azizov and its stage
interpretation, trends in European and Uzbek theater directing, the integrity and art of the play,
Turgun Azizov's research. The originality is the main focus. There is also talk of a modern and
national combination of staging the play “Hamlet” on the stage of the National Theater.
