Abstract
This scientific article comprehensively analyzes the importance of higher education in society. The article discusses in detail how higher education affects the development of society in the scientific, social, economic and political spheres, its role in innovative development, knowledge creation, training of highly qualified personnel and ensuring social equality. The role of higher education institutions in the development of society through scientific research, technological innovations and global cooperation is presented. Also, the importance of the education system in the formation of economic growth, political stability and cultural tolerance is highlighted in the article with examples and statistical data. The role of the higher education system in social mobility, civil society, and global competition is analyzed, and how it contributes to the successful and sustainable development of society in the future. The article aims to provide a deep understanding of the general importance of higher education in society.
