Abstract
This article covers the issues of studying and analyzing the needs and interests of users in information and library institutions. The importance of organizing library services, taking into account the age, professional, and psychological characteristics of users, is revealed. Also, ways of effectively satisfying the information needs of users through the use of modern information and communication technologies and electronic resources are shown.
