Abstract
This article investigates the current methodological and pedagogical challenges of
organizing polyphonic ensemble classes in higher music education institutions. The paper proposes a new 4-
stage methodical model aimed at developing students' harmonic hearing, internal perception of the score, and
the formation of a collective dynamic balance. The scientific perspectives of international and local scholars
in the field of cognitive music psychology are thoroughly analyzed, and a strategy for adapting the advanced
experiences of music institutions in Austria and the USA (using audio recording software and smartphone
applications) to the educational environment of Uzbekistan is justified. The results of the pedagogical
experiment demonstrate the high efficiency of the proposed model in enhancing students' performance skills
and intonational accuracy.
