Abstract

This article examines the pedagogical and didactic foundations of teaching “Music Culture”
in general secondary schools from the perspective of modern requirements. The historical formation
processes of music education, along with the role of didactic principles such as scientific approach,
consistency, visual representation, and appropriateness for children's age and knowledge level, are analyzed.
Furthermore, based on monographic studies and statistical analysis, the role of a future music teacher’s
speech culture and pedagogical skill in enhancing lesson effectiveness, as well as the methodological
specifics of teaching choral works to students, are highlighted.
