Abstract

The article analyzes the synthesis of traditional and modern methods in the repertoire of
the folk instruments orchestra. It examines the historical stages of the formation of the Uzbek folk
instruments orchestra, the process of reconstructing instruments to match tempered harmony, and the ways
of combining the national modal foundation with modern harmonic language, orchestration and conducting
tradition in the work of contemporary composers.
