Abstract
The article analyzes the theoretical and pedagogical foundations of breathing and sound
production techniques in vocal performance. The singer's breathing apparatus, the characteristics of phonetic
breathing, the harmonization of breath and sound, the use of resonators, and the safe development of
articulation and range will be discussed. Also, a system of step-by-step exercises that can be used in vocal
lessons, the main technical errors encountered by students, and ways to eliminate them are presented. The
development of vocal technique is based not only on producing powerful sounds but also on forming a unity
of free breath, natural timbre, precise diction, and artistic interpretation.
