Abstract

This article discusses the dramatic and vocal characteristics of the leading vocal parts—
tenor, soprano, and baritone—in Uzbek national opera productions. Using the operas "Taxir and Zuhra,"
"Alisher Navoi," "Dilorom," and others as examples, it examines the dramaturgical function of each voice, as
well as the effective tools and specific features of the synthesis between the national vocal tradition and the
academic (European) school of vocal performance.
