Abstract

The analysis identified five interconnected problems in contemporary theatre: imbalanced
repertoire, declining creative individuality, ideological vagueness in productions, outdated technical
infrastructure, and disconnection from young audiences. Their common root is the lack of a clear artisticstrategic concept. Addressing this requires a comprehensive approach: developing repertoire strategy,
supporting new dramaturgy, fostering creative freedom, revitalizing theatre criticism, technical
modernization, and systematic engagement with youth audiences.
