Abstract

This article provides a profound analysis of the characteristics of the accordion in the performance of folk instruments. It is dedicated to the origin, history, structure, and operating principle of the accordion, the role and significance of the accordion in the repertoire of folk instruments, as well as the current prospects of accordion performance and the role of this instrument in our national musical culture. The article aims to highlight the theoretical and practical aspects of accordion performance, covering extensively the possibilities, expressive means, and artistic features of the accordion in folk instrument performance.
