Abstract

The article examines the role of non-governmental non-profit organizations in the
development of the women's movement in Uzbekistan, their tasks and functions in increasing the role and
status of women in society. The normative legal documents of the Republic of Uzbekistan on women's
issues, the issue of social protection of women are considered.
